Beauty to Know: Luxury Beauty

For as much as I love beauty products, I have never stepped outside the range of Urban Decay & Too Faced priced products.

It's my feeling that a lot of people don't go outside of that price range. I've never experienced Chanel or Dior beauty, because as much as I love designer names, I didn't see the point of venturing into the beauty part of that world.

I've never really been intrigued by those brands in the beauty world because I'm much more content with my regular, high end products.

Luxury is luxury for a reason... and a price point is a big part of that.

I had a firm standing on this topic until I was able to get my hands on a Le Marc by Marc Jacobs in Role Play (a friend gifted it to me). Well, well, well... was I wrong.

This lipstick is the most luxurious, incredible feeling lipstick I've ever used in my life. It feels like a lip balm but is a full on opaque lipstick. I want every single shade.

I've never felt this way about a lipstick before.

With that, my world was shattered and I started to eye the luxury end of Sephora and Nordstrom a lot more.

I've bit the bullet on some items (mostly lipstick because it is the cheapest), and now I think I may be in some trouble.

I've tried this YSL lipstick in Ultimate Beigeand was so in awe of the pretty packaging, I couldn't bear to use it. It's the perfect nude for every day wear. It's a soft, supple formula that doesn't dry out the lips. It applies really easily and the packaging...ugh the packaging!

Another YSL product I've fallen in love with? The Touche Eclat Radiant Touch. It's the perfect companion to any concealer to give an extra, added boost of brightness. I don't think there will ever be anything else like this and I'm scared because it's $42 and I love it.

Here are some other products that are on my luxury wishlist!
